But for simple conversions like text-to-print runs, it’s still a workhorse. In such cases, the detected wheel rotation speed is increased by a predetermined increase rate, for varying the hydraulic pressure applied to the wheel cylinder. A so-called “centrifugal force accumulation mechanism” is generally used for controlling the hydraulic pressure applied to the wheel cylinder. If the wheel rotation speed detected is increased to a specific value by increasing the hydraulic pressure applied to the wheel cylinder, the fluid supplied to the wheel cylinder is increased to a certain degree (accumulated fluid). If the hydraulic pressure applied to the wheel cylinder is decreased by draining the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic system, the hydraulic pressure applied to the wheel cylinder is decreased similarly (drainage fluid). Heretofore, a centrifugal force accumulation mechanism has been generally used, and this mechanism includes an accumulator whose piston receives a force for increasing the hydraulic pressure applied to the wheel cylinder, and a return spring which returns the accumulator piston to a predetermined position. The accumulator is charged with fluid by increasing the hydraulic pressure applied to the wheel cylinder. The hydraulic pressure in the accumulator is discharged by decreasing the hydraulic pressure applied to the wheel cylinder.
